| I've loved them all my life, certainly hated some of them, particularly for brief periods of time. Actually anyone who grew up in the saddle and working cattle had better like horses, just the fact that they can live to be 30 years old can make you pretty attached to the good ones. |

| I used to feel like Strut but had to learn to keep my mouth shut when I married a girl who loves horses. Well she got me riding (something else Ill bnever learn to do well) and loving her as I do I spent my secret Harley money on a horse for her and the kids. I love her and I guess its mutual since she never gripes about my guns or hunting. Ive learned to like the horse, Id even say love him. Never thought Id admit that. |

| I can agree. Horses are only as good as the people working with them. I found this out the hard way. I learned from the wrong people and horses taught me the right way. I find horses are like people. I have a good string of horses but individually they have thier own unigue flaws. Mistreated and horses can be dangerous. I knew of a mare that killed 2 other horses over the course of a summer before I knocked her out with an axe. I did not own the horse so I did not put her down. It was the owner that needed the blunt side of the axe. They are amazing animals.
