The wife was supposed to go shopping and I was home with an upper respitory infection and 102 fever.

Later that night, she and a couple of lady friends came to our home with lots of loose cash wadded up in their purse's. I figured they went to the casino.

She told me they went to the race track to dine and of course bet the ponies too. I asked her if our horse did any good and the other ladies, said Oh he won. Now I can pay the stable bill on both those nags.

NO! I was speaking of Thoroughbred Racing. I have a 2yr filly that runs 6 furlongs and a 3yr old gelding that runs the mile. The filly came in 3rd and the gelding won his mile.
