My old mule passed away last night and the other needs a companion. If you know of one available, let me know. Thanks ------------------------------- Will / Once you've been amongst them, there is no such thing as too much gun. --------------------------------------- and, God Bless John Wayne. Do people in Florida and the South still own mules?! On a serious note, sorry for your loss, Will.

Will, sorry for your loss as well. I don't know much about mules but I do know a bit about horses + when they are totally alone they tend to go a bit crazy; they really need the comfort of their kind. I will ask around here, are you willing to travel to central Texas if one comes up? Never mistake motion for action.

If you are just looking for a companion for your mule a goat would do just fine. A lot less cost & upkeep anyway. The Amish up this way even say your horses & mules will stay healthier if they have a goat drinking from the same water. Maybe an old wive's tale.

All the sheep + goat ranchers around here keep a donkey with their herds, they will play hell on predators. Never mistake motion for action.
