i lost one of my good mares last night.

i think the last cold spell were to much for her old body, now she is at peace and running at the forever green meadows.

she has left me with a few good one's in the stable, which will stay here untill it is their time.

run free untill we meet up again

Peter,
My condolences, I have been in the horse business my whole life but losing a friend is never easy.

thank you

i really never get used to loosing any of the working animals here, and it knocks the feet away from me everytime it happens.

i think that the more you work with them the stronger the bond becomes and that makes it harder when it breaks, sad days for sure

happy new year to you

Oh Crap!

Peter, that's Irish isn't it?
Sorry mate!

Djino had been the wallpaper image on my iPhone for weeks.
Your animals are so beautiful.

Will you save her tail hair?

Cheers
Tinker

I really miss our old horse (a Hannoverian), he was the most gentle of animals but still a atrong ride. RIP.

But now I have a mare foal (Hannoverian) who is simply beautiful but we haven´t fully bonded yet. She´s full of piss and vinegar at times but she´ll come around.
