Grizzly AdamsRe: To shoe or not to shoe?
Hello;
I'm in a bit of a philosophical mood tonight and my horse just left to play in a movie. As we ponder this question, let's not forget that the invention of horse shoes and stirrups enabled man to utilize horses to their full potential.

Leif WoldI agree with about all of that,I too live, hunt & ride in Colorado. I quit shoeing horses when I could afford to pay someone to do it. Mine wear shoes probably 9 1/2 months a year. I hate watching a lame horse limp down the trail, & won't take the chance on it happening to my horses. I've got to much into them to let them get lame.
