Years ago, when only a callow youth, among others, I had a wall eyed pinto pony. But that sucker loved to run. I'd climb on with nuthin' but a pair of cut-offs. He wore nuthin' but a hackamore. Let his mane grow long for a hand hold. I'd let him have his head and did we fly.
