Got a new mule Monday. Trained and dead broke. About 14 1 or 2. 15 yrs.

I'll get a better pic this weekend. Cute too!

For the cook to ride.

Like I said, Angel is for the boss to ride. The boss rode Angel some today for the first time and Angel is indeed an Angel. In word and deed. EXACTLY what I wanted.

I'm so happy with Angel I could spit. Smiler

as usual you find all the good ones..Like my dad told me many years ago a mule ain't no good until he is at least 15 then you got 15 more good years to ride him...

He believed an old mule would pace himself in rough, high, rocky, rimrock country of the Texas Big Bend, whereas a young mule would wear himself out and you would be afoot or worn out from whipp'en n spuring...I found this to be a truism..give me an old mule anytime..

The same is true but to a much lesser extend with horses. A 10 year old horse gets around better than a 2 or 3 year old for the same reason.

It was a rescue mule. I traded the guy my used elephant wallet for her.
