I saw you mentioned you have a .72 Pedersolli double rifle.

Can you tell me something about it and how it performs? Range, hitting power of the balls, slugs ?

Do you have the shotgun barrels as well?

Thanks

I like mine. I purchased it last fall and have shot it about 20 times. My load is 100gr of H777 with Crisco lubed .018" pillow ticking and a .715" ball. I also have the .715 RB mould. It currently has #11 caps on it and I'll be switching those to Musket caps before I use it for deer this fall. I don't have the shotgun barrels.
It's very accurate. Both barrels hit on a horizontal level 1" from the inside hole edges at 50yds. I don't know the speed of the round balls, but I'd estimate 1200fps(?) and they'd ventilate a deer in short order. It's a TIGHT fit using .018" pillow ticking and requires quite a bit of force to push the patched ball down the barrel. I tried .009" cleaning patches, but accuracy was not as good. I think the tight patch fit aids in accuracy and in sealing in the gases.

It's my first ML and more of a fun toy. I couldn't be happier with it.
