I have a 505 Gibbs, built on a Bauska action. smoothed and hardness/strength checked. The action has the Winchester 70 type safety, and an adjustable trigger. Comes with ammo, dies, cases, etc. I also purchased some additional groundhog, lol, bullets for it, at 400grs each. The rifle was custom made for a bear hunting guide as a back up gun. It is currently stored with a shipper, and can be sent directly to your FFL. I would like to get $3,000 for it and all the ammo, etc. (dies are over $300 alone). but will consider a reasonable offer. Let me know.

Sounds interesting, but would need to see detailed pics of said rifle, as well as pics of the targets to vet accuracy. 50-rds fired minimum. Thanks!

If it is the rifle I sold him for his African PH it is a solid, accurate and dependable working rifle. And puts big bears down as quick as dropping a crane on them.
And unless you plan on shooting very tiny elephants at very long range it is plenty accurate. A lot better than any double rifle.

And I have no way to access it as at a shipping concern in Oregon. I have no pictures of it.

You might want to list it in the Firearms section of the Classifieds. Did you mention what kind of stock it has and I just missed it?

Ive seen the gun, its well worth the money, if I was younger and going to Africa every year again, I would be writing a check right now. Its about as close the the perfect DG hunting rifle as you can get if you can handle the recoil, and does it ever lay buffalo to the dirt..Brockman and I put me one together almost its twin..
