Mikes right !! The bedding is not to big a deal with the cz. Also with the .458 Lott you can load the Barnes X 400 gr or 450 gr which have great BC's and make it flatter shooting. The lott really is a versatile round. And the cz is a bargain.

A major advantage of the 458 win Ruger #1 is that you can buy a cheap throat reamer and throat the thing .250 out. This will let you seat a 500 gr Hornady bullet out another .250 and will allow for about another 10 grs of powder. I add a second cannelure to my bullets, but with a cheap Hornady taper crimp die you can basically do the same thing. With this simple conversion( which has no effect on the guns Headspace unlike a true Lott conversion), you can basically get 2250FPS or Lott performance out of a 458 Win case. The powder will be a bit compressed, but so what! Mine shoots 1 inch groups at 100 yrds and I can reload it just about as fast as I can a bolt action.-Rob
