Sure, an email of a pic would be great. Do you suggest that I send my barrel to Vias for the brake before I get the barrel put on an action, or should I wait till later? Thanks.

Here's one I made for a 500 Jeffry. One for the 600 OK looks the same.

Personally,I would have your gunsmith fit the barrel to the action first, then thread it for a muzzel brake, on the same Lathe. Make sure he uses an outboard spider and knows how to indicate using bore rods ( both sides of the headstock). This way you will be certain the brake is centered on the bore itself and not on the barrel OD. I'm always concerned about damaging fine threads like 1X 24tpi in shipping and handling. If George will do it for you, I would not worry,as he's a pretty good machinist.-Rob
