I examined an action at the '05 SCI Convention, and it felt like the proverbial bank vault.

I should have a whole rifle this month, so we will see.

Are they building the whole rifle or just the action? Post back after you tried out the rifle and let us know how you like it.

They are building a complete rifle for me too. I should have mine in June. They were real easy to work with - did everything via email (answered all of my questions, very helpful).

Does anyone know which synthetic stocks they use?.....I have heard Mcmillan, but WFH make so many action lengths, but I dont see the same amount of different inleted length stocks being available from Mcmillan.

For example,I dont know if this is their 3.65" or 3.85" action....but what brand stock is this:

For the record, we use many different stocks, it all depends on what the customer wants. All of our guns are built custom to the specifications of the customer. The one on the link above is our own stock pattern, designed by us, and built by MPI. However, even with this MPI stock we do our own inletting. On the N-1 through N-4 action lengths we can use nearly any stock designed to fit a M70 Winchester, again, we have to buy it flat top with no inletting and do the inletting ourselves to get a perfect fit. We are currently building several guns using the Echols legend, we have built on the McMillan G&H Stock, Bigfivejack's gun is on the Winchester Safari, many other stock patterns have been used as well. Also the one pictured on the link is an N-4 built in 338 Ultramag.

They built my last rifle and are going to build my .375.

Great workmanship and tack drivers to boot.

If you have any questions give Karl or Greg a call, nice guys to deal with.

Regards,

Mario
