Hi all

I have never had or shot a BP gun, but the idea of having one and hunting with one is getting stronger and stronger.

First, is it old BPE calibers like the 450, 500 and so legal to use all over US, Canada?
How is it to take a old double in a caliber like these out hunting today?
I am looking at a nice German made double in 450 3 1/4" BPE.

Then there is the round balls. Stupid question maybe, but is that a old style slug, just a 12 gauge shot gun with a round ball?
