Hello,

Are there any 380 gr bullets available for the .375 R.U.M.?

If so, do you have some tried and true ballistics data?

I've tried 350 gr Woodleigh's... and in a word Awesome!!!!!!

I don't want any personal opinions or "character assaults".

I just want raw observed data pertaining to any potential bullets on the market.

I will research the load data if no one here has any.

Thanks in advance

ceg,

The only manufacturer I am aware of that makes 380gr bullets for the .375 is the Rhino bullet Co. in South Africa.
They have quite a range of weights for the .375 starting at 235gr thru 380gr. From what I can see these bullets
look alot like a TBBC....to me anyway. I have no ballistic data as I have never tried them but, perhaps the manufacturer
could supply you with some info to work from...?

Rhino Bullets

Hope this help.

Regards,
Dave

Hi,

I make the .375/380gr. RHINO bullets The bullet was mainly designed for Buffalo but has proved itself on Zebra – Blue Wildebeest – Eland – Leopard. I believe it will be devastating on Bear and Moose. The bullet has been used up to 160 meters at a velocity of 2200ft/sec in a standard .375 H & H

I suggest you should get hold of a box from Bill Isenbarger if he has any stock left and try them yourself and then decided how good they are. Bill is in Houston.

Thanks 375/380,

Does the Rhino 380 gr come in anything like the Protected Point Woodleigh? Or is the Rhino a solid Full metal Jacket, Round nose?

I'd like at least 50% expansion going in real deep.

Hi Charles,

The .375/380gr. is a round nose with bonded lead core and expands the same as other soft nose bullets.
