I was thinking the other day, if it wasnt for regular visits to this sight (everyday I check it out)I dont think that I would have ever contemplated ordering my 458 Lott.
Who of you out there have either bought or plan on buying a rifle due to the post's on this sight.

Cheers Choppa

Yeah, I have to agree. This site as cost me a lot of money. I probably never would have got the bug to go to Africa (still saving for it). I have made the move to some big bores, a 375 H&H, 416 Rem and am working on a 470 Capstick.

I've bought two rifles from posts in classifieds and am constantly challenged to increase my storage space now.

Have bought three rifles as a result of the addiction to this site ;>Wink One was by caliber, two were by specific brand, type, and kind.

For an old, cheap guy to whom marketing is no longer pitched ... the site has been remarkably effective!

I wanted a .404 before I came into this site, but it was the chappies here who located one for me. On the other hand, I sold one here, too, so I think I'm about even . . . so far!

Two years ago I was into the .338 and under go fasts...since AR I have 2 375s, 2 416s, a 600OK barrel and am looking for a M77 458 Lott [Big Grin]

I credit AR for getting me hooked on big bores and really enjoy the great info (and great people) here.

Jeffe, are you sure you can handle the recoil on that 8mm?

Did it go off yet?

This sight has made me buy/build

.585 Nyati
.9.3x62
.375H&H
.458 Lott (just have to pick it up)
.416 Rigby. (I may have had that before getting on this forum, not sure)

The only big bore rifle I owned before this sight was a 45/70 and possibly my .416 Rigby.

The 9.3 truly was a case of "the other blokes have one of them, I need one to see what all the fuss is about", I mean with a .375 H&H did I really need a 9.3 [Confused] .......YES!! [Big Grin]
