Just called Lee to have them make a factory crimp die for the 470 NE. They told me they no longer offer these. Has anyone heard this or received a die recently? Looking back in the fourm I see that they were still making them in March of 2006. Maybe I am not talking to the right person. Any suggestions??? NRA CRPA DRSS

I'd call and ask to talk to a tech about their custom dies... The first time I called to have a FC die built for my 600OK the receptionist told me they could not do it... After reading on thier website about custom FC dies I called back and asked to speak to a tech... About six weeks and eighty bucks later I had one... That was about six months ago.. They told me they would make one custom is you sent them in a dummy round. It used to be $50.00 THe only thing it is a large base die, so you would need to remove the bushing in your press everytime you want to crimp or buy another press just for crimping. It is easier to use your die. I set up my RCBS with a washer under the die, seat the bullet, remove the washer. I have a lock nut on the seating stem, back it out and crimp.

Call Hornady and ask to speak to Lonnie in the custom shop. He' a really decent individual and a lot of help. I've come up with some weird things and he's got them done. .395 Family Member DRSS, po' boy member Political correctness is nothing but liberal enforced censorship
