Can anyone recommend a quality leather cartridge carrier/wallet that holds 5-6 rounds of .375 H&H? (preferably from an online retailer)

The best I can find is a 5-round belt wallet made by Galco, but it is currently out of stock at Midway.

I need it within 3 weeks....

Try Jeff's Outfitters. I recently bought really nice 10 round carrier for my 577 from him. Good guy to deal with!

There is Boyt,

http://www.boytharness.com/inv...87AE-30976AFAA562%7D

which do not have the top flap and then there is Westley Richards

http://www.westleyrichards.com...ather_6_1wallet.html

which do. I have a Westley Richards for the 06 and think it's a very well-made piece of work. I bought two other ones at Cabelas a while back on sale for 20 bucks each and they are very nice but I'm afraid I do not see them on the site any more. They were not Galco but some other maker.

Good Luck

The Boyt's are nice and I've used them for years. I had to restich them and put brads in the corners. Cabelas carries them.

The "magnum" model is out of stock....

It is also out of stock at Midway....but it says they expect them back in stock tomorrow, so I will check...and hopefully be able to order one.

Thanks for the responses guys.

I have one of Dick Murray's and it is a very fine piece. Texas made too! I picked it up out the bargain barrel at Collector's Firearms for $15. Got a lot of darn good leather out of the barrel over the years.

The problem with this type is that once some rounds have been removed, the full loops open up with the leather from the loops that have now been emptied. Ideally they need to be stitched between every loop.

I haven't seen Aleko post lately, but his Heritage Arms used to sell the Africase holders and may still carry them.
