George Hoffman, Nice to "see" you around. Hope all is going as well as possible. Are you going to be able to make the convention this year?

Dang!
Ray and George in the same booth!

Do I have to be a member of the Dallas Safari Club to attend?

I will try to swing down from Kentucky to Dallas.

About 1985 I attended the show when I was passing through Dallas on some flight surgeon duties in the USAF. It was pretty impressive way back then, early in it's career. It was in a hotel/convention center at the airport back then, and I was a new Capstick Crazy with a crew cut, wandering about the place with big eyes. My hair was a dark brown instead of gray. [Smile]

Hey Dagga, come on down to the DSC,there will be better things to see than old Ray, but if you want to talk to George, you'll likely have to put with Ray as well! [Roll Eyes]

I was at that show in 85 at the Amfac Hotel, At D/FW airport, and my hair was only half grey then. Ray was already old then! [Big Grin] The show now is in Market hall in Dallas, and is a lot larger than in 1985! Hell, you can even visit Mark Sullivan's booth! [Cool]

Mac,
The prospect is appealing. I need to get it in gear to arrange my schedule.

I think I will drop by and buy one of Mr Hoffman's books. I bet he might even sign it.

Then I might look around to see where Ray gets his beer. I bet they will have Dos Equis, heck I bet theyve got Shiner too.

LB,
I won't bring Sweet thang cuz I'm a gun whore and if someone offered me $10 or $15 grand for her, I'd take it and hate myself in the morning. I'm pretty weak, when it comes to selling guns..and worse when it comes to buying them...but I will sign G. Hoffmans book out behind the show for $5.00 apiece...

SS and Plastic??? Damn Ray, fell off the chair over that one.

Any room in Idaho for a useless outlaw like me? I come from a long ancestry of moonshiners, gunrunners and hoss thieves. Now looking for a new trail to ride out on, 'cause I can hear the hammers and saws whilst the Deputies are putting the gallows together. And I saw 'ol Rube at the livery winding 13 turns on a new manila noose and greasing it real good so it will tighten up fast. Maybe I can get lost in the Sawtooths.

Well John, if you ever decide to think about Alaska, we sure could use a talented 'smith like yourself. Lots of places to get away from it all too. [Big Grin]
