Wow. Fairly offensive there, partner.
You care to explain that?

Bwana,
I'm not a very tasty fish. Seriously I always jump in where Mitch Carter is concerned since he was a true gentleman on this forum(unlike myself I freely admit).

If you were just fooling, my apologies.

Karl.

At full power loads, 750gr bullet going 2400+ fps, it literally knocks the snot out of your nose. I have 75+ lathe turned bullets for this purpose and that will last me a long, long time. I enjoy pushing a 650gr Woodleigh SN at 2200fps because it's not AS violent to me. This is also my the round I use for hunting. With a cast bullet (1200gr or 750gr) and XMP5744 the thing is a pussycat. My rifle was made by A-Square with the scout style scope, QD Leopold rings, NO muzzle break, and weighs 14.5lbs unloaded.

ps. When other people fire full power loads I stand off to one side (trigger finger side) and behind them to catch the rifle if necessary. Nobody has 'lost' the gun yet, but some have taken as many as 3 steps backwards

No harm, no foul.
I was looking for something more akin to:
"Oh yeah, well why don't you come over to my place and have at it!"

Judging by the videos Saeed has taken, it looks like more of push...down a flight of concrete stairs!

I've never shot a T-rex, so can only extrapolate from my experience shooting a measly 600 gr @ 2200 fps from my 500 Jeffrey. The T-rex is pushing a bullet 20% heavier, burning 50% more powder, and generating 15% higher velocity.

I imagine with that level of recoil, you would simply be bewildered, and not able to really figure out if it was a push or a jab. One things for sure, you wouldn't have to check the case to see if the bullet was still in it to know whether it had gone off.
