Marc_StokeldI would want to start with a pistol grip gun so you don't have to fool with bending the tangs and keeping the triggers and safety working correctly. WIll the guy really take $350 fo rit? I figured he would want more than that just reading the post.
You can find decent Belgium doubles for ~$250 for an extractor gun.

NitroXI have a Simson Suhl shotgun and as I understand it the action can differ quite a bit in size. I had a discussion on this with a gentleman about a year ago and was shown his which could be converted. Alas my own was quite a bit smaller and is suitable only for a shotgun.
Except for the cracks in the stock that looks like a good price for an engraved shotgun.
I wouldn't think that stock configuration would be very useful on a rifle.
