Definitely he ain't wrapped too tight, though a .416 Rigby cartridge might be if fired in this gun. He calls it a Mauser 98 on a *Bruno Action*

This .411/.416 Rigby is a BRNO ZKK 602.

I might find a use for the action and stock, but only if it has the integral pop-up peep, and for way less than $1000.

That gun could be dangerous in the wrong hands.

There are some very highly accomplished gunsmiths in montana.....artists in the trade as it were...Apparantly the owner had this gun built elsewhere.

That is a bizarre idea, to take a factory caliber, rebarrel to a cartridge that has no advantage at all with a near non-existent bullet supply.
