AHR has a new updated website

http://americanhuntingrifles.com/

Somehow my picture is there in the customer photo section. I am famous for once.

Looks like they are making their own fiberglass stocks - this is great news. I am sending my AHR rifle to Wayne to get a new stock.

I am also very glad I shoot left handed for once - cannot impulse shop for rifles. There is a 30/06 that is just beautiful.

Wayne - like the new website and the in-house fiberglass stock is a great product.

Nick, very nice rifle and great classic cartridge, congrats.
May I ask what action your rifle is built on?
Thanks.

Thanks, guys ...

416RigbyHunter: Wayne built it off of CZ's 550 Safari Magnum action. Everything after that was custom.

Nick, welcome to AR! Looks like you've come to the table with some nice stuff. Yes, Wayne can work wonders with the CZ 550. A friend of mine is having him make a 400 H&H now.

Thanks, Biebs.

Been a member a while now. Just haven't posted much due to family health issues ...

Montea6b: That's the carry strap from Trader Keith Outfitters. I have them on all my African rifles.

Didn't intend to hijack Beretta682E's thread; just wanted to chime in on what great work AHR does in producing high-end rifles.

Cool

With a gun and sling that pretty feel free to hijack my thread.

I should have gotten the upgraded stock from Wayne 4 years back. But I thought that i would bang up the factory stock and then get a new one. 4 years and 4 safaris later I am attached to my beat up stock.

Going to upgrade to a fiberglass - burkina was rough on wood. I am also looking for another used cz left handed so i can swap my beat up stock onto it.
