Congratulations your on a good thing with the cz .375. I use the cz rings and a leupold 1-4x20. I also use RCBS .375 dies and load Hornady 300 gr Round Noses. The .375 is the ebst all rounder out there...more versatile than the 30/06 IMHO.

Congrats, Fireman. Like you, I am just discovering the joy of CZ rifles. They are a lot of quality for the $. I don't think your rifle is supposed to come with rings. Sorry to be the bearer of bad tidings. But you can go to their website CZ-USA.COM and order anything from them. Extra clips, shirts, hats, rings etc.

I think you're going to be a happy hunter.

The CZ factory rings are ugly, but work well. The Talley rings are gorgeous, and cost more than the CZ's.
You can get a custom fit bore guide that will seal in your chamber to keep the cleaning spooge out of the action. Sinclair international sells those for a reasonable amount. Get a Tipton carbon fiber rod, or a Bore Tech rod sized for your bore. They both have two sets of bearings, and are smooth and strong to operate. I favor Bore Tech jags, and Sinclair baker's dozen bore brushes.
A decent gunsmith can smooth that trigger, and can bed and cross bolt your rifle. The cross bolts may not be necessary, but they surely look cool, which is also very important.
Redding dies for reloading, RL 15 powder, and a couple boxes of Hornady 270 grain RN bullets will provide hours of enjoyment. Within six months you will be blowing off church on Sundays to go to the range. So sayeth the gun prophet in the newly discovered, heretofore missing old testament book The Book of Ray (Atkinson) . He is the only one left alive from when it was written.
Go forth and shoot sayeth God, for it is a good thing.

I would recommend the Nosler reloading manual for starters if you are planning on doing some hunting. Between their Accubond, Partition, and Fail Safe bullets you are sure to find just what you need. The Hornady book will do well by you if you are mainly concerned with general shooting and plinking. Both books have excellent discussions of the steps involved in reloading.
You will need a decent press. There are a lot of those out there. I use Redding, but the new rockchucker is pretty nice also. You don't need a huge press quite yet, but you will likely get infected by the big bore disease. You only slowly get over that disease when you get older and the recoil becomes more pain than joy. RCBS makes a nice reloading starter kit with a manual powder scale and a Rockchucker press. That would be a good way to go.
Do invest in good dies. In that caliber I recommend Redding. Don't use the crimp feature built into your sizing die. Get a Lee factory crimp die. They are only about $9.00. You may want to get a hand primer tool eventually, but for now the little primer arm that comes with the press will work just fine.
As I mentioned earlier, for starters get a 260-270 grain bullet (Nosler Ballistic Tip, Accubond, or Hornady) and RL-15 powder. 71 grains of RL-15 behind and of those bullets will do you right.
Have fun!

Thanks for the tips guys. I have never reloaded so I need to get a quality book to get me started, any suggestions. The place I bought the rifle is well stocked with supplies so I should be able to get what I need there.

The reason that I think rings come with the rifle(and maybe they don't) is I had read that in an article recently. I will have to give them a call.

Anyone elso having a lot of trouble getting on the boards that last day or so? I was shut out completely.

Sounds like it will be a shooter! As to reloading I like as many references as possible so I have most of the reloading manuals.

To get some basic information Hodgens produces a Magazine I think it is about $7 or $8 and has good information as well as reloading data. Go to the web site of the Bullet and Powder producers and distributors you can get free information...Call them they are helpful...Go to Redding, Forester, Sinclair, RCBS, etc web site...they all will supply you information..You can request catalogues which are helpful...Do this before you purchase reloading manuals.

Do your research before you purchase. The kits are good values, however, if you get into reloading heavy you will what upgrades...What I perfer.. Forester and Redding reloading stuff ie Presses, Dies. I like the Forester trimmers, PACT scales/dispenser and/or RCBS scales Brass Lapua, Norma, Wichester in that order. Federal Match Grade primers. Sinclair (Sinclair also makes some very useful tools and is a good resource, have them send you their catalogue) and Midway are where I ususally get my stuff....Just my 2cents worth.

I forgot to mention that the rifles do not come with rings, at least the 550 Safari Mag does not come with CZ rings.

I would get the Talleys. Earlier this year I started to look at different mounting systems because I was not satisfied with what I had. Talking with folks and doing some research I decided to try the Talley stuff. Since January, I have "changed" out about 15 rifles/scope sets to Talleys. I have been very please with them. They are a bit more expensive but in my view worth it and they also look great on the rifle. I like the lever lock design for these rifles, however, the Talley fixed rings are also very nice and are less money ...but I would go with the lever (detachable) design.

I'm not sure but I DO think that rings may come with your particular rifle. Call CZ america and talk to them. They're very helpful and if rings should be there they will send them to you. They did that for me when I questioned it. The rings do not come automatically however with ever model. The model in question is the American 550. They take 19mm rings. If you have to buy them, they're half the price of Talley and work fine. The talley's are nicer however and probably worth the extra money. I have both. Good luck.
