@all Im using the cartridge 10.3x60R for shooting and hunting. Because of our hunting rules and regulations we have to use a caliber greater than 10.2mm. The cartridge 10.3x60R is nothing else then the old British cartridge .450/400 2 1/8" Nitro Express. My question is: who else is using this cartridge for shooting and/or hunting and not only for collecting? Collani, I use the 450/400 2-3/8" in an older double rifle, although I don't use modern, smokelss powder loads. With 80 grains of black powder and a 240 grain paper-patch bullet it is very pleasant to shoot, but only marginally more powerful than a .44 Magnum handgun! It's good for deer and makes a great double rifle competition gun. | |||
