Maybe this should go in the Reloading Forum, but I'll dangle my line here first. Anyone have any load info they'd care to share using the 350gr CEB #13 in the Ruger .416? I've got a custom M70 is .416 Ruger that's aching for something other than Hornady DGS/DGXs.

2barrels I think you probably came to the right spot for the information that you are looking for, but it will most likely be sparse! I don't know of anyone that has loaded for the 416 Ruger, or really anyone that has one personally. My advice use the same load you are using for your Hornady bullets, whatever you are using for that, the BBW#13 will give less pressure, and more than likely more velocity at the same time as it has much less bearing surface. It will most certainly be safe using the same load. I am assuming the same weight, but not sure that Hornady even makes a .416 350???? If you are using 400s, then that would be a starting load, work it up from there. Thanks Michael. I have a couple of loads using the Barnes 350gr Banded Solid that have yet to prove themselves. That said, and with your advice, I would suspect the 350gr CEB #13s could be used in lieu of the BBS.
