Thanks Michael, for everything you did for me, the rifle, brass, scope on rifle, bullets, dies all came in.The first thing I notice was how handy this rifle is, it handles like a dream,I think it is the best I"ve ever seen, the other thing that stands out, was how unbelieveable the action on these rifle are smoother than glass by far the best I have ever seen. I had serveral custom rifles from people, one of my rifle cost over 3,000 dollars a 416 rigby, the action is a CZ, the action on the 375B&M is head and shoulders better.I just got it so I have not shot it yet,not worried is it shots half as good as it looks I will have no problems .Also like the Nikon onarch scope very nice, better than I thought it would be,may have been converted to them, just need some reloading data for it I will be using reloader 15,my favorite powder, the bullets to I am looking at accubond 260,barns 270 and the hornity 270 for practice,so far I like this rifle so much I think when I move to Idaho I will sell my 416 rigby and get a 50B&M,Kev

Kev, I am extremely pleased to hear you like the rifle... Even though its a 375, I was beginning
to like it pretty good myself when I had it here messing with it! I believe you will get many good years of service out of it. Keep me posted when you start shooting it some......

Enjoy
Michael

There is not a lot of data on the 375 B&M, I have never really had one until Kevin got his built. The only .375 bullets I had here were some 300 #13 Solids and 275 #13 HPs... I did not have any others to work with. I ordered from Dan some 230 Raptors, but the twist was a tiny bit too slow, in 3 rounds 2 would be in one hole, a 3rd one out, for a long time, I thought it was me, then it dawned on me that they must be right on the edge of being stable, but not quite there. I loaded Kev some 300s and 275s and sent along with his other goodies.

I found the 375 B&M extremely easy to work with, actually even more so than the 9.3. I fired every test load from brand new formed brass, set to work easy in the rifle, so no bumping the shoulder, and it worked great. I used only two powders, IMR 4320 and RL 15, and as Kev says, RL 15 came out just a bit better in the end. With the 275 #13 the rifle handled them easy at over 2700 fps and the 300s over 2600 fps. Recoil was mild, and I topped it off with a 2X8 Nikon, the rifle shot and handled great. You could not ask for better in a medium. I believe with Scope it came in under 8 lbs, around 7 3/4 as I recall, 20 inch barrel and set up perfect for Alaska, Ultimate Stock and stainless. A very good working rifle for that environment!

Again Kev, it pleases me to no end to know you are happy with it. Thats why I do some of the things I do........
Enjoy....
Michael
