Anyone have velocity #s for a 416 Rem Mag using 370gr NF from a 22" tube?

It's been posted from 2450-2550, just depends on your recoil tolerance and your rifle.

You can get an easy 2450 FPS in most rifles with RL-15..82 grs. is considered max but some recommend 83...

I, personally use 78 and 79 grs of RL 15, RP cases, 215 Fed. primers with the 370 gr. Northfork softs, flat nose solids, and cup points for about 2377 FPS, depending on the rifle and I have shot a number of cape buffalo with that load and it sure does a number on them.
A typical cape buffalo hunt equates to a NF soft point to the shoulder and they run 50 or 60 yards and are dead on the ground, about what I see with a .470 or 500 Jefferies....

The only one shot, drop on the spot, with a shoulder heart shot Cape Buffalo that I have shot was with that load and at about 225 yards as he strolled along grazing.
The PH called him the teapot bull, he just tipped over on his snoot and never moved, why I have no idea.

Thanks for the input. If I can get close to 2400 I will be just fine.
