Suggest you raise that right elbow parallel or almost parallel to the ground to form a pocket for the butt in your shoulder area. Should improve your accuracy. That's what the pros do, anyway...

The fourth shot went into the hole furthest to the left.That four shot group is better than this rifle can do off the bench, so accuracy is no issue here.So far,holding the rifle this way has proved to be the most accurate.

Possibly the four-shot group you can produce while holding the rifle this way (which does look awkward and uncomfortable) is better than the four-shot group you can produce shooting the same rifle off the bench?

In this case it was better than the two groups I shot off the bench minutes earlier.It is not surprising that with a new bore, the first day at the range, I can get many(but not all) 405gr bullets to hit in the same hole,offhand at 50yds.This bore was toasted early in its life and immediately stopped shooting the 500gr bullets accurately at 100yds.Both my other Rugers would shoot the 500gr bullets accurately out to 100yds well after 1000rds and have made almost 4 shot one hole groups at that distance.The only difference being that I didn't show up with them at the range, with 100rds and shoot them one after the other just stopping to reload,like I did with this rifle.On a side note,the rifle in the video,now shoots the same 405gr bullets almost a foot apart at 100 and never grouped them less than 4 or 5 inches at that distance.

I think this works only in the southern hemisphere...it's reversed in the north due to the Coriolis Effect interacting with prevailing solar flare activity. Big Grin

You obviously like shooting it, you're confident with it and I
expect you get your game with it. So good for you. Next
time you video yourself maybe you can show us you in pro-
file; so we can see how much barrel flip you experience and
how much rearward thrust your shoulder is taking. Keep hav-
ing fun with it!

OH GOD! {Seriously, we need the help.}
