from the responses to my thread below, I'm gonna get a ruger no. 1 .450/400 3". Gotta problem. Been looking for one, here in Indiana, for the last 3-4 mos. Can't find one. The only one I handled, was at a gun show, last. Feb. Have called dealers, been to Cabela's, called Gander Mtn., no dice. I could try to order one, but for the money, I want nice wood. Ordering one is a crap shoot. Not really interested in the Boddington series, unless the price is right. If you find one[and don't buy it ], let me know who/where, and if they will ship to a FFL. I trust you guys too tell me what the wood looks like. Also, doesn't have to be new, could be used in excellent condition.

look in the gun digest magazine theres an add for them the boddington series at $1099 each with you choice of ser#'s from 14. his tele is 304-344-1900

Been on the auction sites, found a couple, but they seemed pretty high$$$s. Like I said, not rally interested in the Boddington series, unless the price is right, but thanks for both your suggestions. Keep em coming!
