Rich- I see a guy from NEast,on Auction Arms
selling what he calls 550 Wells case. Similiar
to yours except still has the Cheytac
headstamp.Ed

It was Auction Arms, item # 8314837.
In the ad they said it was part of a line
of cases made from Cheytac brass, from
375 up to 550. cases have Cheytac/Jamison
headstamp.Ed

"One lot" of dummy there, started at $39.95, no opening bids yet, now asking for $49.95 to "buy it now."
Does that mean 10 or 20 .408 Chey-Tac cases that have been lopsidedly necked up to .550 caliber? Heck no! That is the price for one dummy cartridge!

.375, .416, .404, .510, and .550 Wells Express, 5 new .408 Chey-Tac neckings.
Should be great uses for the .408 Chey-Tac brass nobody wants, since the .416 Barrett nailed the coffin.
To whomever did this "Wells Express" series:
