I am trying to gather up rounds for anything from a 375 caliber and up, I already have 375 Ultra Mag, 458 Win Mag, 600 and 700 NE. Solids and live rounds preferred, but not necessary. Thanks. Email me at gabek@centurytel.net
I guess he could have whacked a rabbit over the head with it if he could get close enough. You might want to re-read the post. He is collecting cartridges.
Fireslayer,
E-mail me an address and I'll see if I can send you a dummy 458 Lott & a 416 Rigby.
I was paging through the Cabelas Shooting Catalog the other day and came upon a display case of Nitro Express Cartridges. Here is the link...
...Well I think that the link is too long for the BBS SW. So just go to www.cabelas.com and do a search for "Nitro Express Display Board". You'll find it there.
Take Care,
-Steve

It is not a big boar but I can send you a 338 Excalibur round if this sounds interesting to you. Just email me you shipping address and I will send one out.
The Excaliber was one of A-squares sporting rounds. Same case as the 300 Pegasus, necked up to 338. The case looks a lot like a modified 416 Rigby. Supposedly, they were really fast. I don't own one, so I don't know. A-square is going back into business, so they will have brass, and Quality Cartridge also claims to make brass for these. The 300 pushed a 180 gr bullet at 3500 fps and the 338 pushed a 250 gr bullet at 3200 fps. - Dan

My Dad is really interested in building a 375/404 improved. Does anyone out there shoot one? Would you be willing to send me a dummy round? Does Saeed shoot this round?
I will trade for a cartridge of mine.

The 338 Excalibur is one of the newer A-Square rounds. It will push a 200gr bullet at 3600fps. I cannot verify this number being I have only done the reloading for the 250gr bullets and just starting to work up the loads. It took me a while to find the brass after A-Square went away. On another note Quality Cartrige does have this round. I put up half the cost for the forming dies and the head stamp dies to get them made. So fare I am in the process of fire forming the brass and working up loads. Unfortunately it is a bit cold up here to get too much done in the winter.
E-Mail me your shipping address and I will send out a case. I sent you an e-mail but I am having trouble right now with email and I am not sue it will get through.
I suggest looking at the various collections Tatonka offers and go from there -- either buying theirs or using theirs as a shopping list for building yours. They have different collections to choose from.
Cabela's also sells some of Tatonka's collections.

I've got some dummy .500 Jeffreys with GS solids. Send me your address and I'll part with one. The bertram cases I used for the dummies are not the most eye appealing.

I believe so, I am on the road for work, but my fiance said I had some packages, I'll call her tomorrow and see if one of them is from you. Anyone who sends me something, I appreciate it, but it is gonna be hard for me to keep track, until I get home in a few weeks. Thanks.
