Does anyone know what gun fired the 13mm Mauserand Vickers rounds. Saw a picture of these 2 rounds today and it (13mm) looks like it would make a dandy parent case for something. Also any info on these 2 rounds would be a great help.

Coondawg--The 13 mm German round was fired from an overgrown bolt action antitank rifle. The Vickers was a machine gun round. They made a short and long Vickers. Here is link to a UK collector with great pictures and all kinds of info You will really like that site..Ed. http://www.quarry.nildram.co.uk

The 13mm was a scaled up M98 single shot anti-tank round. The Vickers may be a .55 Boy's anti-tank developed by the british. The Boy's round has a belt same as modern magnums; check these sites http://www.cmoutpost.net/lists/cmbb_finnish/boy.htm http://eduardofontenla.freeservers.com/document.htm
