Just out of interest has anyone taken any game with this bullet??

They were really accurate in one of my .375 H&H rifles (.292" for 3 @ 100 was my first group!!!). So I couldn't help but use them for my guiding business for a while. Many times they would shed the jacket but I still got decent penetration. Eventually I quit using them because of the inconsistent game performance though.

I would NEVER use them on a big or dangerous animal. Boddington mentioned to me that he'd used one on a broadside lung shot on a Cape Buffalo and it worked fine but I doubt he'd do it again.

For plinking or deer and smaller game they'll be great.

Kyler

I've used the 250 grain gamekings on elk several times - they have done really well. Not as much penetration as Barnes or FS, but they have sure done the job. Running about 2750 with RE15. I have also shot through a good sized Doug fir with one, so they will penetrate SOME.
