One of the guys that shows up pig hunting brough his 460 wby MKV along. He stated the loads were a 450gr barnes x bullet with amax load of powder.

You can call be a wimp but it was too much gun for me. Made my 416 taylor feel like a medium bore.

Kill hogs ok but can't say any better then my 416.

I shoot the 450's at 2450fps. A lot different than the 500's at 2525fps. I can shoot the 450's off the bench, but the 500's are a bit much. I seem to run out of case capacity before I hit high pressure.
