I wasn't sure where to post this but I figure this will be the best place.

I wanted to know what is so special about the G&H Top Mount, Swing Off and Side Mount. They are extremely expensive.

I am looking for mounts to use on a DGR. I have heard very good things about the G&H mounts but wanted to see what you guys thought about them.

The swing off sounds really cool but I have never handled a rifle so equipped.

Would appreciate any info/experience with any of the G&H mounts.

They are expensive, but IMO well made. I know nothing about their swing mount. I have used mostly the side mount. (only one top.) They return closely to "spot on". It leaves the top of the rifle clean when detached. I like that. Iron sights can be lower. Some don't want them lower due to stock design. I have never had a problem with one. I have had them on rifles from .30-06 to .505 Gibbs. I don't feel you can go wrong on them, but I am sure some one will disagree.
