I want to build a 4 bore front stuffer. Finding any help on the webb is tough. I've contacted some barrel makers and asked about supplies or parts but none were any help. Does anyone have any ideas. Getting a 4 bore barrel is no prob but breech plug, locks or any information is in short supply. Any guidence would be appreciated.

Thanks
Steve

Might ask about this on the Muzzel Loading Forum.

If you can find a copy of Hatari Times International #21. There is a good write up of a guy who built a copy of Selous's 4 bore.

Look up Bruce Lingenfelter on gunsamerica.com

I built one that had a 4 bore barrel and breech plug from Ed Rayl fit to one of the underhammer frames that Bruce sells. It is not a traditional sidehammer looking gun but it shoots great and was a fraction of the cost of an October Country 4 bore.
