Where to get .512 cast lead bullets?
Can someone suggest a source of .512 550 grain or 600 grain cast lead bullets? I am just a a little too lazy to cast my own regularly. Thanks.

Cast Performance has some 525-grain WFNGC that I use with my 50 Alaskan. I will also use this bullet with my 50-caliber wildcat when it's ready. Good luck.

Here is another source for a 590-grain hard cast. However, I think they are in a very backlog so it takes a while to get some.

Mingo, I ordered some beartooths but my order is still 3 or 4 months out. I checked the cast perfomance online catalog but they were only listing bullets up to .500 diameter. Did I miss it? Thanks.

500grains,
Wanye Doudna does a .512 plain base 660 grainer for $10 per 100.

500grains,

They apparently screwed up the number on their website. I have been buying .510 cast bullets from them for three years now. Both my 50 Alaskan and 500 Linebaugh are .510 diameter. In fact, I just got a shipment of 525-grain from them about 2 months ago and it measured at around .511. Give them a call to clear this up. Have fun!

If you want a bit more FPS, cast performance makes a 435 grain WFNGC also in .510 - very good quality bullets and the folks are great to talk with - KMule

I make a 470 gr LFN, a little lighter then you are after, but it should make a good mild to medium power round.

500, I could cast you some 450's or 500's and size to .512. I live in Pocatello, Idaho. Just across the obrder. I don't know what UPS shipping would be, but maybe not that much for a short trip.
let me know.
