If I were doing it, I would use XMP5744 powder since it gives me such excellent results in the 500 NE and 570 NE. My load for both cartridges is 45.0 grains XMP5744. It is safe up to about 70 grains. I would probably start in the 45 or 50 grain range of XMP5744 with whatever cast bullet you like.

Another technique is to use a FULL CASE of H5010 (50BMG powder). Only about half the powder will burn in your barrel and it gives a reduced pressure load.
