I have 4 HS Precision rifles. A friend had a takedown, it seemed very heavy and club like in your hands. it shot fine but he sold it

Not long ago I was very interested in one myself. I looked one over and it seemed like a very nice rifle but damn was it heavy. I decided against it. I'm still trying to find a nice take down that's not so heavy.

If weight is not a concern then it's just about perfect.

Some time back I looked into The HS takedown rifles and even posted on this website. I wound up buying a Blaser and have never looked back. The idea of mounting the scope on the barrel makes a lot of sense to me. The Blaser case can hold the rifle stock and two scoped barrels. I have 375H&H, 300WM and 7mm RM barrels. The Blaser is also very accurate. Just my $0.02.
