OK, I think that I have a load for my 375 H&H. All shots were at 100 yards using a 4x scope.

The group on the right is three 260 grain Nosler partitions pushed by 78.5 grains of IMR 4350 for 2638 fps. This load had only 9 fps difference (extreme spread) between all three shots.

The load on the left is the same bullet with 79 grains of IMR4350 for 2652 fps and an ES of 34 fps.

I know that everyone else in the world will get more velocity with this load but I think that I am cursed with always having "slow guns". I think that 2600+ fps will work for me.

Fjold: Man I still can't get over your little "movie" featuring those two great dane puppies trying to get out of that sack! Smiler Anyhow, What you have is plenty good enough. That is spectacular accuracy for any rifle. Attached is my target using 300gr Swift A Frames, 76gr of H-414, WW brass and Fed 215 primers. The rifle is a STOCK and unaltered Model 70 Classic (1992 manufacture) topped with a Leupold 1.75X6X32mm with Heavy Duplex. jorge

Nice groups!!

Some may push for the last foot per second; but when shots are touching it's a hard agrument!

Many years ago I thought every .222 Rem I picked up would shoot better groups than anything going.......

Today, and tens of thousands of rounds later; many, many, and many guns later in either caliber and a few others worth mention...

I not so sure the old .375 H&H isn't at the very top of the heap for flat repeatable accuracy.....

Fjold, How long is your barrel? That may be why you can't get to 2700 FPS. Nice groups tho!!

Fjold - Very nice groups. My groups are very similar using factory Remington 300 grain SAFs. Gotta love the .375 H&H.
