BMG, Would you mind sharing that load? What are you using ~ 115 grains of Rel 15? Scott

My accuracy load was 118gr of RL15 and crimped in the groove. This is the max load listed in the 'Any Shot you Want' manual. I'm 3" high at 100yds so I'm guessing my zero is 150yds or so.

Hi BMG, I believe you have a 500 A2 that was chambered by Kevin Jenkins using my 510 JAB reamer made by Dave Manson. Is that true? I am sure you got an excellent chamber by Kevin. He is the "J" (for Jenkins) in "510 JAB." Concentricity to the millionths of an inch, no doubt. And thanks again for telling me about those 705 grain AAA "Harlow" target bullets. Very accurate!

RIP, You are correct as usual . It IS cut and fit by the master of metal, Mr Kevin Jenkins. It is ALSO cut with the .510JAB reamer made by Dave Manson. Thank you again for ALL of your help in getting the whole works together. You are welcome for the tip on the Harlow 705gr semi-boreriders from AAA even if I did have to keep asking if you had shot them yet. It only took 8 months or so for you to try the ones I sent to you . They are the same ones I used when I shot 1000yd 50BMG (light & heavy class) competatively. They have accuracy written all over them, horrible hunting round, but accurate as hell. Didn't you shoot a .17" 3 shot group at 100yds with your JAB (Ruger #1) and these bullets? What was that load again? BMG ps. I'll try and get a pic posted here. I don't have a digital camera or the ability to upload it here, but I'll work on it.

Yes, BMG, but I ordered more of the bullets as soon as I got around to trying your sample. Thanks. That standard accurracy load is a low pressure one that works well with the 705 grain Harlow and the 750 grain A-Max (which is not quite as accurate as the Harlow): 110 grains of IMR 4350. It gives about 2125 to 2150 fps from the 27" barreled Ruger No.1, depending on the bullet. I could go higher, but I don't need to. Got it sighted in for this load with mil dot holds charted out to 1000 yards. The H4350 Extreme seems to be faster in my 375 Wby, and with less velocity variation than the IMR 4350. I am probably going to go to all H4350 as I use up my IMR 4350, to simplify powder inventory. BTW, I use 110 grains of RL-15 with the 570 grain Barnes XLC for just over 2400 fps in my 23" barreled BRNO.
