I have large "tactical" knobs on most of my rifles, but my big bore traditional-ish rifles are stock. The big knob really brings it to life when fast cycling is necessary and with optics. Anyone put one on a DG rifle? Comments? Seems like a good idea to me and if you choose the right one can make it look good too

No tactical knobs, but I put a knob from a vz/24 on a commercial mauser and I like it. The Czech knob is larger and spherical so it helps when going fast.

I'd just weld on a classy Mauser style knob that is much longer.

Exactly. The larger handle provides faster cycling without completely ruining the classic look.

I think this is the easiest way to make bigger bolt knob. Just push the hard rubber ball with correct size hole over the original one.

That looks like half a old buff's dropped horns. Nice. Is that fully custom or adapted?

I see no need for a big ugly knob on a DG rifle..Been using Mod. 70 type and mostly straight down Talleys and never have had a problem..

I question the need for speed even in a charge situation, your better off using a natural positive move loading and making the shot count..slam feeding is a great way to push your muzzle way off target, so what have you gained with speed trying to find your friendly buffalo in the sights again? holycow
