There is a very good deal on GunBroker for a pre-64 Model 70 .375; I've seen the rifle, and it's at least 90%. The pitting on the barrel, in my opinion, does not detract that much from the appearance or value of the gun. I've bid on it, but I already have two just like it, so bid away ...... also, the bore is "as new", and there are no cracks in the stock. One last comment - the rifle is not mine, I'm only letting folks know in case anyone is looking for one; nothing for me to gain. ____________________________ .470 & 9.3X74R Chapuis' Tikka O/U 9.3X74R Searcy Classics 450/.400 3" & .577 C&H .375 2 1/2" Krieghoff .500 NE Member Dallas Safari Club | ||
