Anyone had any problems mounting a 2.5-8 leupold on the CZ550's/BRNO 602's? I'll use Talley rings. Is the tube long enough?

Don't know about the 2.5-8 but I have a 2-7 VX1 on my 602 375 and the fit is perfect for me. SCI Life Member NRA Patron Life Member DRSS

It will work, but just barely, with that front ring backed up as far as it will go and still be fully engaged with the front integral dovetail. The Leupold 1.75x-6E is a definite easy fit with room to spare on the CZ 550 Magnum.

new guy, I just measured the spacing of the Talley rings on the scope for my CZ magnum: 5 7/16" The front ring on my scope could be moved back 3/16" and still be fully engaged with the dovetail.

I used a 2.5-8x36mm LEU on a 550 magnum 375H&H off and on for a while and had no problems w/ the fit. In fact I found that it fit well w/out obstructing the loading port and made a great handle. The USMC mildot reticle on this scope broke in the field and now I use nothing bigger than the 1.5-5 w/ a #4 on that particular rifle. GVA
