Has anyone used one? If you have access to one, can you measure the muzzle dia for me? Thanks Remember, forgivness is easier to get than permission.

I own one. It weighs 8 or so pounds with a sling, a Leupold fixed 4 power in Warne QD's. Muzzle diameter is .652 inches. I like the gun. It shoots well. Remingtons are a PITA to load though. I would hate to be in a hurry while putting 3 into the magazine. It feeds well.

That is a real lite gun for the .375, what is the recoil like? I was going to pick one up but I was concerned about it being too lite. Any input? *we band of 45-70ers* Whiskey for my men & beer for my horses! Malon Labe!

I've never owned one or shot one, but I really like the concept - but when I examined one in a gun shop, I discovered there was no way in the world that I could get my head in position to use the iron sights! Not even close. When I pointed that out to the shop owner, he tried, and he couldn't do it either. That thing is stocked for a scope, period. The iron sights are simply not accessible...at least not with the melon I have stuck on my shoulders.

I tried one several times and did not have any problems with the iron sights. I'm used to Remingtons anyway I guess. I shoot one and I have had it for 30 + years. Everyone is different. For me the gun seemed to handle well, I wish I could shoot one. *we band of 45-70ers* Whiskey for my men & beer for my horses! Malon Labe!
