Good Lord! That rifle weighs 31 pounds and does not have a recoil pad!!!

Hunting with that outfit would be just slightly less difficult than climbing Everest.

This "rifle"is a real beaut. I was able to handle it at a gun show in Kamloops where John Millar had it on display. He was kind enough to let me handle it(and dream of shooting it). It is a couple of pounds (really) lighter when not loaded but it sure is heavy. I was surprised how well it came up and was able to hold it steady, but only for a few seconds. Then I really started to notice the weight. It is very short and I believe this helps in the handling. I have never seen a better finished firearm. All of the loading pieces for the sizer, powder measure, bullet seater, etc. are hand made and all the handles are made from (if I remember right) mastadon tusks he found while in the Yukon, mining. Check out the articles in Nickudu's link, it is really worth it. Buy the way the pictures don't do it justice at all. Smokey
