im thinking about getting my action tuned up by them. anyone have one and willing to tell me details about it? fit, finish, feeding, ect. i have read aot of posts that are kinda like yeah they are good. wanting more detailed info.

Yes, I have a 585AHR built on one. If you had a scale of 1 - 9 with 9 being "Superior" it would be a 9 throughout the list of questions you have asked.

As far as the most important question - feeding - from round to FN with a wide range of profiles - it feeds as fast as I can cycle the action with never a bobble.

For bolt action rifles, AHR is top of my list.

Not yet. Going to re-list it on GI to move it to the top and Wayne suggested asking Hendershots if they will take it on consignment.

I have a 416 Rigby from AHR that is smooth and very accurate. I have a 458 Lott I plan to send to Wayne.

I have a 9.3x62 a 404 jefferey, a 375 h&h, 416 rigby,375 RUM, a 458 lott and 3 more on the way.
For me it is the best money spent on a bolt action dangerous game rifle. you might get more cost from some builders but In my opinion they are the cats ass.

I have a left hand .458 Lotts Wayne built for me on a CZ action. It is a well made rifle that feeds and shoots very well. The bonus is the fit and finish on the stock is perfect.
