yea, and after getting to know your weapon, you can make adjustments sniper style since the windage knob is marked and numbered. Flip the peep, 2 clicks to the right, or whatever. Makes sense.

Wish I could have the elevation adjustment too without adding all that height to the whole rig.

Nice CHAIR, BTW......

rotflmo lol
My wife got a kick out of that. She said to me "See I told you so". I never get involved in the furniture and decoration thing but she likes it the way I like guns.

If you truly think of it, a fine firearm is much like fine furniture, and often "you get what you pay for." Wink
Tell your wifey, she does have really good taste. clap thumb lol

John, just an idea.....there is a THIN LINE on the top of the small peep on the AR sight. It's not as pronounced as the one on the big peep but it is there nevertheless. Take a Dremel tool, or a nice small gunsmithing V-file (like I have a "tool pack" of Wink ) and start filing/Dremeling a slight notch in the top of the small peep. Cut the notch just enough to get a good sight picture with the front sight (to YOUR preference) and that should be good for quite a few MOA elevation. Then go to the range and see "how much." Comprende??? thumb

That's exactly why the Army and Marines don't care about the change in zero going from the small to large aperture.

Army and Marine doctrine is to sight with the small aperture and the 8/3 setting on the elevation drum at 300 meters. The large aperture is for 200 meters and under, so a minor change in zero is irrelevant when shooting minute of bad guy.
