.495 A-Square, would like opinions of it.

I have never owned one, but I know what it is and why it was devised.

It is basically a .500 A2 "short"--same .460 Wby. basic case and .510" bullet, but shortened enough so that it will fit and feed through a .375 H&H Mag. length action.

It is less powerful than a .500 A2 by a couple of hundred fps.
