What's a fair price for an "as new" Model 70 Alaskan pre-64 .375 and an original Ruger # 1 .404 calibre rifle (Ruger test rifle) ? The# 1 is factory original, not re-barreled. Thanks for your help.

No idea on the Ruger but I would think $1800 or so on the 375. I think the Alaskan was a bit of a rare bird wasn't it? Just made for a couple of years?

I have seen regular pre-64's in .375 for $1500 in excellent condition.

The 375 in absolute mint will bring $1800 to $2200..the No.1 in 404 will fetch about $1400. or that is what I see them for in the Gun List and on GunsAmerica etc.
